Poet & Writer, author of Love Hertz, I'm in Love with My Barista, Odin and The Mead of Poetry, and Technology Bytes Back.

Originally from Derbyshire Peter ‘blew in’ to Dorset twenty years ago where he lives on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. He is a prize winning performance poet, an alliterating, artistic, autistic, a computer geek and technology nerd. A former Bard of Dorchester and  host of Bridport spoken word night Apothecary and Jawbone at The Poet Laureate. Founding and Managing Editor of The Jawbone Collective. He has been widely anthologised, he has a background in technology and education, runs workshops in schools and arts organisations. He is an advocate and mentor for autists and is a Community Health Champion who believes passionately in the role of creativity as an aspect of personal health and mental well being. 

Caroline Burrows

Caroline's first collection of poetry has been published by The Jawbone Collective - March 2024. Caroline is a poet with a keen eye for observation and loves to play with poetic form. A keen cyclist and environmentalist she has toured the UK with her bicycle delivering poetry at venues far and wide. Her collection Verse Cycles is a fantastic insight into the life and experiences of a Bike Bard on tour. Caroline's poetry has appeared on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Bristol, in the BBC Sky at Night Magazine, the Charles Causley Trust, Sinew: 10 Years of Poetry in the Brew, First Flight: Paper Cranes Anthology, Morecambe Poetry Festival Anthology, and the Wilfred Owen Association Journal amongst others. She has also been Poet in Residence at Cromarty Arts Trust. There is no ticket, you will be sent a confirmation and details via e-mail the week before the event.

Kate Gold
'Dartmoor Poet' author of 'Eight Buzzards Rising'.

Kate Gold is a painter and poet living on the edge of Dartmoor. She has written poetry since a child. After she studied poetry as part of a creative arts degree, she took her writing more seriously and honed and developed her writing skills. She went on to achieve an M.A in creative writing (poetry) In the past Kate worked as an art, poetry and creative writing tutor in HMP Bristol and ran writing workshops in community settings. Much of her poetry is inspired by her love of the wild beauty of the natural environment. Her first poetry collection 'Eight Buzzards Rising' was published in 2022 by The Jawbone Collective.
